Welcome to our Shul, at the Chabad CHAI Center. Our Shul - Yiddish for Synagogue - is a place of warmth and acceptance, a place of prayer and study, a home for anyone - adult and child, affiliated or unaffiliated, irrespective of Hebrew reading skill - to connect to their Jewish community. Our style defies defies east categorization. We run a traditional service with readings mainly in Hebrew (from prayers books with English translation) At the same time, prior knowledge isn’t assumed at all, and a typical group includes people who presently have little active Jewish involvement. One of our defining characteristics is our “come as you are” attitude. Everyone is welcome, irrespective of their background or beliefs. We invite you to join us for a Shabbat or Holiday Tefillah, a meaningful lifecycle event, or just to connect with your people. You’ll be welcomed with open arms.
