Mission Statement

Education:

Further Jewish education and discovery for adults and kids alike.

  1. Practical direction in the performance of Jewish rituals, (Holiday Workshops, My Prayer, Friday Light, AskMendy)
  2. Exploration into the wealth of knowledge the Torah provides us, ( JLI, Jewish Cooking Courses, Women for Women, Torah Studies )

Appreciation:

Generate pride in our Heritage, and in its traditions, fostering a greater sense of Jewish identity and community.

  1. Joint community programming to enhance Jewish unity, (Singles Club, Concerts, Panel discussions)
  2. Public displays of Jewish customs, and recognition of our contribution to society by public officials.

Celebration:

 Assist the community in celebrating the joys of Judaism

  1. Organize Shabbat and holiday gathering/parties, (Friday Night Live, Sushi in the Sukkah, Purim in the Jungle, Simchas Torah Hora)
  2. Aid and enhance the celebration of lifecycle events, (Birth, Bris, Upsherin, Bat/Bar Mitzvah, Wedding, G‑d forbid Passing)
